Lower Income: You are struggling to meet basic needs and have no expendable income 

$70 

Middle Income: You are able to meet basic needs and have expendable income 

$100 

Higher Income: You comfortably meet basic needs and have ample expendable income 

Pay less on the scale if you - 

• Receive public assistance 

• Have dependants 

• Have $0 savings 

• Have significant debt / have less access to money because of abuse 

• Have a chronic illness or disability 

• Are an elder with limited financial support 

Pay more on the scale if you - 

• Pay other practitioners full price 

• Have few or no dependents 

• Have savings, investments etc 

• Travel recreationally 

• Work part time by choice 

• Have earning power (college degree(s), able-bodiedness, race, gender, social networks, family etc)
